Gases have no fixed shape or volume, and their particles are widely spaced and move freely.

Gas Molecules

In gases, molecules are far apart and move rapidly in random directions. They have weak intermolecular forces, allowing them to spread out and fill any container.

• Variable Shape: They conform to the shape of their container.
• Particle Movement: Molecules move freely and rapidly in all directions.
